Neighborhood Lexington Public LibraryLibrary Phased Reopening Plan
The Lexington Public Library has announced plans to offer curbside service at the Eastside Branch beginning Monday, June 8. The Library has asked members to keep library materials that they have previously borrowed until further notice (late fees are currently suspended). The Library’s Virtual Branch will continue to operate and is available to all library cardholders.

Hamburg Farmers’ Market
The Bluegrass Farmers’ Market in the parking lot of Liquor Barn in Hamburg is open on Saturdays from 9 am til 2 pm.

Jacobson Park Reopening
In March, Jacobson Park closed their Boat Dock in response to COVID-19. Last month, Mayor Gorton announced the dock area will reopen to the public once again, but with guidelines. Two and four-person pedal boats, along with two-person kayaks are available for rent.

New art
Winchester Road drivers will notice a new mural on their way to Hamburg from downtown. Square Pegs Studio and Design has painted a tribute to chimney sweeps on the Barnhill Chimney building.

St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway
The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway returns to Hamburg for Summer 2020. The 2020 dream home, currently under construction, is on Stolen Horse Trace (near where the 2019 dream home was built). Your $100 ticket (available at dreamhome.org) enters you for a chance to win, and to support St. Jude’s mission. The winner of the Dream Home Giveaway and other prizes will be announced on August 13.
