Congratulations to Liberty Ridge Senior Living for hosting one of the neighborhood’s Fall Favorites, a Classic Cruise-in, featuring muscle cars, classic cars, and so much more.
Dog Show
Ashland Terrace Retirement Home held their 11th Annual Dog Show last month. They awarded prizes for Best Trick, Most Obedient, Most Adorable, and Best in Show. Needless to say, guests and residents and pooches had a great day.
Welcome to the Neighborhood
Preston Greens, a new luxury senior living community featuring 124 personal care and memory care apartment homes, is coming to Lexington in 2020. The new community hosted a ribbon cutting at their Little Herb Way location in September to celebrate the official opening of the leasing office. Ready to be a Star?
On November 19, Morning Pointe of Lexington will host Seniors Got Talent at the Lexington Opera House. But first, you’ve got to audition. Tryouts will be held on October 15 and 16 at Morning Pointe East and on October 17 and 18 at Morning Pointe of Lexington.
Bike Program
The Lexington Senior Center wants to remind all seniors about their bike program. During Monday through Thursday (8:30 am – 2 pm), seniors can check out one of their 3-wheeled bikes to ride around the park. There are three options to choose from that best suits your needs: Dolly – 24” Sun Bike Traditional, Jerry Lee – 24” Sun Bike Cargo, and Elvis – 24” Sun Hand Trike.
