Lexington: fireworksCelebrate Independence Day with Crossroads Church at Evans Orchard in Georgetown, KY on Wednesday, July 3 at 6:30 pm. They’ll have live music, food trucks, entertainment, a kids zone, and of course an epic world-class fireworks display.

Lexington’s Great American Pie & Ice Cream Social is at noon in Cheapside Pavilion.

Celebrate the nation’s birthday with 4 days of patriotic activities at Fort Boonesborough Campground starting Wednesday, July 3 at noon.

Head down to Morrison Lawn on Transylvania’s campus for the Patriotic Music Concert, in celebration of Lexington’s Fourth of July Festival. The music starts at 8 pm.

 

Thursday July 4

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Celebrate America’s Independence at the annual Fourth of July Festival and Parade in downtown Lexington. The Downtown Street Festival begins at 9 am, the parade kicks off at 2 pm, and fireworks begin at 10 pm.

Visit the Bluegrass Farmers’ Market in the Hamburg Liquor Barn parking lot on Saturday, July 6 from 9 am to 2 pm.

Man O’War Harley-Davidson hosts their bi-monthly Bike Night on Monday, July 8 at 6 pm.

 

Tuesday July 9

Complimentary pony rides, face painting, and jumps in the bounce house to all children in attendance at the Kentucky Horse Park on Tuesday, July 9 at 5:30 pm.

 

Wednesday July 10

The Kentucky Horse Park celebrates Military & First Responders with a day of appreciation on Wednesday, July 10 at 6:30 pm.

The 2019 Barbasol Championship is coming back for its second year in Nicholasville, KY at Champions Trace Golf Club, July 18 through July 21. Find tickets here.

Join the Hamburg Library and learn about the Kentucky River Distillery providing Camp Nelson troops whiskey rations that later became Canada Dry Distillery on Thursday, July 18 at 7 pm.

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is a 64-team, single-elimination tournament for a winner-take-all cash prize at Frederick Douglass High School. Tournament runs Friday, July 19 until Sunday, July 21 and airs on ESPN.
