On Saturday afternoon, May 16, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in the Brighton area of Hamburg caught on fire. Two firefighters were injured, but the injuries are non-life-threatening.
Rob Bridges, who is the General Manager, was inside with four other employees when they began to smell something burning. They assumed it was a rib smoker until flames appeared from the roof at the back of the building. Everyone was able to get out safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
