Home and Garden: map of a county for leaf collectionLeaf Collection
The time has come for the city of Lexington to vacuum up as many leaves as they can. The 2019 vacuum leaf collection program is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 4. The pick up dates for most neighborhoods in the Hamburg area begin in early December.

To find out what zone you live in, go to www.lexingtonky.gov/leaves and type your address into the leaf collection map.

The vacuum pickup is offered once a year for single-family homes that receive city waste collection service. Residents should prepare leaves before collection by raking into the area between the sidewalk and the street. If you have no sidewalk or it is right next to the curb, place the leaves on the edge of your lawn closest to the street.
