Happy 100th!

Richmond Place Senior Living celebrated the 100th birthday of one of their residents, Lillie Turner. Lillie is a mother of 5, a dedicated grandmother, and lover of bingo and jigsaw puzzles.

2020 Lifetime Achievement Winner

Bobby Flynn, a resident of Sayre Christian Village, received the Kentucky Senior Living Association’s Resident Lifetime Achievement Award for 2020. Flynn is a family man, politician, volunteer and an outstanding member of the Lexington community.

Basic computer classes

Interested in taking in-person basic computer or basic internet skills class? Lexington Senior Center is sponsoring two separate days of free basic computer classes on May 3 and 4, at 9 am and 1 pm. Each class allows up to 6 people, and must register in advance for the class.

Taste of Friendship

Do you know someone that is considering community living? Join Sayre Christian Village for a Taste of Friendship Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 6 from 12:30-2 pm.

Take a tour of their Friendship Towers expansion & amenities, and learn about the new Memory Care Community addition utilizing the Best Friends Approach. A chef-prepared meal is provided.

Mind Matters Health Fair

UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging hosts their 13th Annual Mind Matters Health Fair on Monday, May 3, 10 am to noon.

The Senior Lifestyle, Health & Wellness Expo at The Signature Club of Lansdowne was rescheduled to June 14 at 10 am.

Culinary Challenge

Sayre Christian Village hosts a Culinary Challenge on Thursday, June 10 at 6:30 pm. It is a virtual fundraising event.

iKnow expo

The 2021 iKnow expo is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 11 at the Lexington Senior Center.
