Sunday, November 1

The 37th Annual Thoroughbred Classic is going virtual this year. The 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, & Challenge will take place on Sunday, November 1 through Monday, November 30.

Monday, November 2

BIA Cares partners with the Kentucky National Guard for Operation Military Cheer starting on Monday, November 2 through Wednesday, December 9. Drop off donations of new, unwrapped toys for children or new clothing (Infant – 17) at the BIA office on Custer Drive, until December 12.

Friday, November 6

My Favorite Things in Hamburg hosts a Christmas Open House on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7.

Saturday, November 7
CANCELED—Lexington Women’s Health presents the 4th annual Mixmas Market powered by 46 Solutions on Saturday, November 7 at 9 am at Lexington Green. A one-stop shop for all of your holiday needs supports Refuge for Women.
Tuesday, November 10

My Favorite Things in Hamburg hosts a Christmas Open House on Tuesday, November 10 through Sunday, November 14.

Friday, November 13

Peppermints & Pearls is at Lexington Christian Academy on Friday, November 13 at 5:30 pm and Saturday, November 14 at 9 am.

Help assemble more than 5,000 Thanksgiving boxes! God’s Pantry Food Bank is hosting its annual Sharing Thanksgiving Basket Brigade at Southland Christian Church’s Richmond Road campus on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14.

The Kentucky Holly Jolly Christmas Expo is canceled for 2020.

Tuesday, November 17

My Favorite Things in Hamburg hosts a Christmas Open House on Tuesday, November 17 through Saturday, November 21.

Sunday, November 22

The 5th Annual Gobbler Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is on Sunday, November 22 at 8:30 am at Mereworth Farm in West Lexington.

The Southern Lights Holiday Festival returns to the Kentucky Horse Park on Sunday, November 22 through December 31, 2021.

Bluegrass Creative Market, a curated Kentucky pop-up market, is at the Oleika Shriners on Southland Drive on Sunday, November 22 from 11 am until 4 pm.

Thursday, November 26

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Friday, November 27

The Gobble Grease Toss is on Friday, November 29 at the Redwood Cooperative School from 10 am until 2 pm. Lexington residents can bring cooking oil in a disposable container with a lid.

Saturday, November 28

The Spindletop Hall Open House and Craft Fair is on Saturday, November 28 at 10 am.

Thursday, December 10
