The Stevens family was profiled for the March 2021 Hamburg Journal cover story.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sayre Student and Hamburg resident Grant Stevens has made his big screen debut in  <\/span>Little Town.<\/span><\/i> Nine-year-old Stevens is a fourth grade student at Lexington\u2019s Sayre School. The movie premiered in both Lexington KY and Louisville in June. More than 1,000 kids auditioned for <\/span>Little Town<\/span><\/i> from writer\/director Dani Menkin. Stevens was chosen for the lead. <\/span><\/p>\n

Little Town<\/span><\/i> i<\/span>s the road-trip story of a stand up comedian and his son on the way to a \u2018Little Town\u2019 in the mountains.The Stevens family was profiled for the <\/span>March 2021 Hamburg Journal cover story. <\/span><\/a>Writer\/Director Dani Menkin told Hamburg Journal, \u201cI loved his audition\u2026and my son was with me when I first looked at it, and he also thought Grant was very good,\u201d adding,  \u201cThe funny story is that they both became best friends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In wrapping up our HJ interview, Menkin concluded, \u201cI think Grant not only has a great\"\"<\/a> future, more importantly he has a present\u2026The camera loves him, and I can\u2019t wait to see more of him, and I am excited for the audience to see his first feature film with our <\/span>Little Town<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
