On July 7, Paws 4 the Cause hosts the 2nd annual Mutts 4 The Military Poker Run. Participate in a winding tour of the countryside of Kentucky. The ride begins at noon at the American Legion next to Sam\u2019s Club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Southern Barker,<\/strong> in Hamburg\u00a0next to Bonefish Grill, is hosting a pop up show with\u00a0Running With Color Art on July 7 from noon to 5 pm. She does custom pet treat jars, mugs, art prints and so much more.<\/p>\n

Saturday, July 14<\/span><\/p>\n

The 5th annual Charity Dog Show, sponsored by Pet Wants of Lexington, is July 14 from 9 am to noon at the Kentucky Horse Park. The Dog Show is a just-for-fun event open to all types of dogs, and different \u201cclasses\u201d can compete for bragging rights. Classes include puppies, trick dogs, senior dogs, junior handlers (under 18), and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Triple Crown Cat Fanciers cat show is at Kentucky Indoor Sports on July 14-15.<\/span><\/p>\n

Central Kentucky Veterinary hosts Mutts about Movies on July 14. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your dog out to Paris Landing for a drive-in movie on the waterfront grounds. Please bring a chew toy, dog food, or dog bed to be donated to the Paris Animal Welfare Society (PAWS).<\/p>\n

Woodford Humane Society hosts the second annual Summer Gala on July 14 at 6 pm. Enjoy an evening at the Keeneland Entertainment Center full of dining and drinks, live and silent auctions, and live music.<\/span><\/p>\n

July 19 is Bark in the Park. Bring out that four-legged furry dog friend of yours to watch Legends baseball vs the West Virginia Power.<\/span><\/p>\n
