pg-05-hj_october_2016The Press Juice and Health Bar, a popular downtown establishment for raw and cold pressed juices, juice cleanses and healthy food options will be adding a second location inside the new Hamburg Place YMCA, located at 2681 Old Rosebud Road this fall.

The Press Juice and Health Bar has been serving Lexington since August 2015 at 191 Kentucky Avenue in downtown Lexington. Owners Mike Asay and Tyler Hughes are excited about the new partnership.

“It’s going to be a good fit for what the YMCA of Central Kentucky is trying to accomplish,” said co-owner Mike Asay. “Our establishment has the same goals of providing healthy choices for members of the community.”

The new juice and health bar will serve the full version of their menu with some new additions, including different types of bottled and sparkling water.

There will be comfortable seating and tables located near the new space to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. The Press will officially open for business when the new Y opens. Hours of operation are still under discussion.

“This will be an added value for our members and guests at our new Y. It will be a convenient place to grab a healthy meal or mid-day pick me up,” said president and CEO of YMCA of Central Kentucky David Martorano. “Individuals and families are busier than ever … helping them to discover ways to be healthier and feel better is at the heart of what we do.”

Each and every day, the YMCA of Central Kentucky is working to help the community – 68,000 people last year alone – have access to healthy living programs, education and services, all with the goal of creating a stronger, healthier Lexington.

The Y promotes healthy living through our fitness facilities, child and adult programs, sports leagues and activities designed to help members meet their desired goals and choose healthy diet options like those provided by The Press Juice and Health Bar.
