Sometimes, military families need a little extra help during the holidays and that is where BIA Cares comes in. Since 2010, this organization has supported Kentucky military families through their relationship with the Kentucky National Guard and their on-going toy drive.
Children in these families have one or both parents deployed during the Christmas time or families just struggling to make ends meet, which is where BIA Cares comes to help.
Santa partnered with the National Guard and BIA Cares to help bring joy and cheer. The community was invited out to the BIA Cares offices Friday, December 13 for their annual Toy Pick Up with Santa.
After all the toys were loaded and ready to go, the little ones and their families enjoyed some hot chocolate and cookies with the members of BIA Cares and Santa.
