Get crafty during after school snack time by making unique Mother’s Day cards with supplies from the art cart on Wednesday, May 1 and 8 from 4 pm until 5 pm at the Northside Library.
Saturday May 4
With the Kentucky Derby right around the corner and Mother’s Day coming up quick, join the Eastside Branch for a Skin Care Saturday to learn how to make Derby style sugar scrub as a gift for Mom on Saturday, May 4 from 11 am until 1 pm.
Sunday May 5
Create a handmade card for Mom, Grandma, or any special lady in your life at Lexington Art League on Sunday, May 5 at noon. Drop-in to design, print, and fold your own unique cards using Microsoft Publisher at the Downtown Library on Sunday, May 5 from 1 pm until 3 pm.
Thursday May 9
The 8th Annual Chrysalis House Mother’s Day Luncheon is on Thursday, May 9 at 11:30 am. Luncheon is catered by the Apiary Fine Catering and events with Chef Cooper Vaughn.
Friday May 10
Join Lexington Hearing & Speech Center on Friday, May 10 starting at 8 am for a celebration of moms, aunts, and grandmothers for breakfast, coffee, juice, and activities.
Man O’War Harley-Davidson hosts a Mother’s Day weekend sale starting Friday, May 10 until Sunday, May 12.
Saturday May 11
This annual Mother’s Day weekend treasure, Mayfest at Gratz Park, begins on Saturday, May 11 and ends on Sunday, May 12.
Enjoy a Mother’s Day luncheon with the Georgetown Street Neighborhood at Douglass Park on Saturday, May 11 at 1 pm.
Sunday May 12
Happy Mother’s Day!
Copper Roux is offering Mother’s Day brunch options.
The Children’s Chapel in Christ Church Cathedral are creating gifts for mom’s on Sunday, May 12 at 11 am.
Chenault Vineyards in Richmond is celebrating Mother’s Day with a buffet style brunch and lunch on Sunday, May 12. Reservations can be made for 11 am, 12:30 pm, and 2 pm.
J. Render’s Southern Table & Bar is offering Mother’s Day Brunch.
Bring a mat and relax for Mother’s Day Rooftop yoga at The Kentucky Castle on Sunday, May 12 at 9 am. All levels are welcome. There is also two separate brunch times, one starting at 11 am and the other at 1 pm.
Bluegrass Railroad Museum hosts all moms for a train ride to remember on Sunday, May 12 at 1:30 pm. Passengers have the opportunity for a mid-ride stop to walk up to the edge of the Young’s High Bridge and overlook the Kentucky River Palisades.
