Lexington Christmas Parade
The traditional Lexington Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 7 beginning at 11 am. Enjoy marching bands, performers, and parade floats as they come down Main Street getting everyone ready for Santa Claus.
Santa Pet Pictures
Santa is on hand at Southern Barker for pet pictures on Saturday, December 7 from noon until 4 pm, and again on Saturday, December 21. Be sure to bring a camera!
Toys for Tots
In support of Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign, Santa is flying into the Aviation Museum of Kentucky on Saturday, December 7 at 1 pm. Bring a toy donation for admission and get your picture taken with the man in red.
UK Basketball
University of Kentucky men’s basketball take on the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, December 7 at 4 pm.
Christmas in Hamburg
The Hamburg Pavilion hosts Pictures with Santa every Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm and Sunday from noon until 5 pm. Santa is set up between Torrid and Wildcat Wearhouse. They also host Storytime with Mrs. Claus every Sunday from noon until 5 pm.
Christmas at the Pavilion
Enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride at Hamburg Pavilion on Sunday, December 8 from 1 pm until 3:30 pm. Pick up and drop off is at the gazebo between Ted’s Montana Grill and Victoria’s Secret.
Gift Wrapping with Habitat for Humanity
Visit Habitat for Humanity's gift wrapping station at the Barnes and Noble store in Hamburg on Sunday, December 8 between 1 pm and 5 pm. All donations will help support affordable housing in Lexington.
Acoustic Jam
Acoustic Jam Lexington 2019 is Tuesday, December 10 at Lexington Opera House at 7:30 pm. A special evening featuring live, intimate, acoustic performances from 6 country singer/songwriters including Carly Pearce, Rodney Atkins, Hunter Hayes, Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny and more with a portion of proceeds to benefit Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
