Hamburg Hancock Fabrics on Richmond Road Holding Going Out of Business Sale

The Hancock Fabrics at the Lakeview Plaza on Richmond Road is holding a going-out-of-business sale. The store is discounting all merchandise until it closes down for good, which will be around July. Merchandise markdowns as high as 50 percent are available in-store as well as online.

The Hamburg Hancock Fabrics isn’t the only one closing down, though: all of the nation’s 185 Hancock Fabrics are shutting their doors after the store filed for bankruptcy in February and was sold at the end of March.

Hancock Fabrics carries a number of sewing and crafts products, including fabric, needle-craft supplies, decor textiles, and sewing machines.

Lexington’s other Hancock Fabrics store is at the Southland Shopping Center.
