Celebrate Grandparents’ Day
Sayre Christian Village will host a Grandparents Day Concert on Sep 8. Enjoy an evening of song and celebration of all things Americana. Local singers will perform, followed by a pie reception (and what’s more American than that?)
Classic Cars Cruise-in
Liberty Ridge Senior Living’s annual car show is a Classic! Classic cars will cruise into their parking lot on Saturday, September 28 starting at 1 pm. Friends and families are invited to enjoy this blast from the past.
An Update on Accessory Dwelling Units
The Division of Planning has drafted an amendment that specifically outlines how ADUs could be included with the Zoning Ordinance for a by-right use in residential zones. ADUs are often known as “Granny Flats” or “Mother-in-Law” cottages. The next Planning Commission Committees meeting is on Thursday, September 5 at 8:30 am and 1:30 pm at the Lexington Senior Center. After that, the Planning Commission hosts a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 26 at 1:30 pm. If you have any questions, email planningmailbox@LexingtonKy.gov with all inquiries.
