Lexington Senior Center offers a new interactive workshop on how to eat healthy, move more, and meet your weight loss goals. The workshop goes through December 18.

Be a Santa to a Senior

Home Instead is collecting gift donations for its annual Be a Santa to a Senior program. Unwrapped gifts can also be mailed to their office by Friday, December 11.

Crafted Ornaments

Residents at Sayre Christian Village created sweet folk art ornaments in their ‘Crafting for a Cause’ art therapy programming for an online Holiday Pop-Up Shop Fundraiser.

Christmas Candy Drive-thru

Richmond Place Senior Living hosts a Christmas Candy Drive-thru on Thursday, December 10 from 4 pm to 6 pm. Call 859-300-9343 to RSVP.

Cruise & Schmooze

Lexington Senior Center hosts a Happy Holidays Cruise & Schmooze on Friday, December 4 at 11 am. Rain date is Monday, December 7.

Festival of Trees

The Lantern at Morning Pointe hosts a drive-thru Festival of Trees Holiday Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 16 at 5 pm.

Senior Spotlights for 2020

Preston Greens Senior Living opened in the neighborhood in the fall.

HomeWell Care Services of Lexington held their official grand opening in August.

Coming soon

Anderson Communities requested permission to build a senior living facility on Todds Road. The Lexington based developer had to send in a zone application to turn space behind Baptist Church at Andover from an agricultural urban zone to a multi-family zone to create a senior living facility.

Meadowcrest is another senior living community coming to the neighborhood. A project developed by Cowgill Properties, it is located on the corner of Winchester Road and 1-75.
