Regal Hamburg Pavilion at 1949 Star Shoot Parkway will be installing king size recliners in place of its traditional seating. The switch should be finalized by May.
The move comes as a part of Regal Cinemas’ initiative to introduce recliners into theaters across the nation. According to Regal’s website, “these luxurious recliners are cozy, comfortable and spacious, adjustable to multiple positions and include padded footrests. Regal guests can rest and relax in these recliners, becoming further immersed in the movie while experiencing this luxury environment.”
In other movie theatre news around Lexington, the AmStar at Brannon Crossing is about to become a Movie Tavern. The only Movie Tavern location in Lexington is currently at 133 North Locust Hill Drive, off of Richmond Road.
