If you frequent Pleasant Ridge Drive or the businesses around it, you may have noticed construction happening next to Double Dogs restaurant.
According to public records, 1750 Pleasant Ridge Drive (the construction site between Double Dogs and Tire Discounters) is going to be Home2 Suites by Hilton.
The only other Home2 Suites in Lexington, Kentucky is on Lowry Lane, behind the Trader Joe’s on Nicholasville Road.
In February 2019, a zoning change was requested for this parcel on Pleasant Ridge Drive. Bingham Greenebaum Doll representing Justice Plaza LLC and Kentucky Nickel Investments LLC sent the request to re-zone for flexibility uses in the commercial area, such as retail shops to complement the current and future uses of the area. It will allow a wider range of business and professional uses for the property.
