BIA receives support for training program
BIA of Central Kentucky’s training program received funding to assist traditionally underrepresented students enrolling in their Workforce Development Training Program through a partnership with the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR).

Cooking a turkey this year?
Recycle your cooking oil for free at the Gobble Grease Toss. Lexington residents can recycle used cooking oil for free on Friday, November 27 from 10 am to 2 pm at Redwood School, 166 Crestwood Drive. Please bring your grease in a closed container that you can leave. This service is for Fayette County residents only.
Holiday Trash Pickup
No trash collection Thursday, November 26-27 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Make up day is before the holiday on Wednesday, November 25.
Leaf Collection
Lexington’s 2020 vacuum leaf collection program is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 9.
To find out what zone you live in, go to www.lexingtonky.gov/leaf-collection and type your address into the leaf collection map.
The vacuum pickup is offered once a year for single-family homes that receive city waste collection service. Residents should prepare leaves before collection by raking into the area between the sidewalk and the street. If you have no sidewalk or it is right next to the curb, place the leaves on the edge of your lawn closest to the street.
