According to Old Kentucky Chocolates’ website, they are currently hiring for a new location in Hamburg.
A ‘Now Hiring’ sign posted on the door of the former restaurant Cosi, which after 13 years of business closed in early September, confirms that Old Kentucky Chocolates plans to move in.
A crew was seen inside the building, renovating the space for its new tenants.
Don and Pam Hurt founded Old Kentucky Chocolates in 1964 and began making Bourbon Chocolates, Bourbon Cherries and Old Fashioned Pulled Creams. Over 54 years it has grown to include gourmet truffles, sea salt caramels, chocolate-covered strawberries and grapes, and other chocolates treats.
The Hamburg Old Kentucky Chocolates will be the fourth location in Lexington. Other stores are located on Southland Drive, in Lansdowne Shoppes on Tates Creek, and in the Lexington Convention Center.
