Father’s Day falls on Sunday June 18, 2023 and there’s no shortage of options for celebrating Dads — and grads (at peak graduation season) in the month of June.

Does your Dad or Grad love cars? Kick off Father’s Day weekend with the Maserati Mingle! The Maserati Mingle is a preview show for July’s Keeneland Concours d’Elegance. Enjoy an evening of over 40 hand-picked rare, exotic, classic and collectible vehicles on display. Food and drink will be available from local businesses at the Summit. There will be new Maseratis on display. All proceeds benefit UK Healthcare Kentucky Children’s Hospital, 5 pm to 9 pm, The Summit.

The first John Calipari Father-Son Camp – presented by White, Greer and Maggard Orthodontics – is scheduled for June 9-10, the second session will be June 16-17 (on Father’s Day weekend) and the third session will be June 23-24.
The father and son participants will be treated to instruction from the Kentucky coaches and staff, along with current available Wildcat players through detailed skill work and competitions in the Joe Craft Center and the Seaton Center. Father and son teams will compete with fellow campers of appropriate age groups (based on son’s age/grade level) in competitions that incorporate skills learned throughout the camp. The skill work is designed to give both father and son drills and techniques to take home and continue working on together.

The third annual Fathers Day 5K For Prostate Cancer is scheduled for Sunday June 18, 2023 at 2 pm at the Coldstream Research Park in Lexington (near the dog park and behind the Embassy Suites Hotel).
Craft with Dad! Join Michael’s in-store to make a wood burned tag keychain as a gift for dad! You can RSVP to Michael’s online to receive an email reminder of the date, time and location.
Shop with Dad! Father’s Day weekend come out and enjoy a summer artisan market and yummy food trucks at Bluegrass Creative Market, which has recently relocated from Southland Drive to the Summit. Shop Noon to 5 pm and visit with Kentucky artists and makers inside and outside at the Barn in the Summit at Fritz Farm in Lexington. Bring your friends and family, come hungry and ready to shop local. Dog friendly, with free admission.
