The Bridge on Romany has announced they are closing their current location, with plans  “to bring the same passion we began with to a new concept and location.”

 

The Old Todds Road location of Common Grounds has opened (facing Man O’War in the strip that has Buffalo Wild Wings and Cocktails Bar & Grill).

 

El Charro hosted their Grand Opening in Brighton Shoppes in December. Popular offerings include the margarita flights and the chori pollo. The original El Charro also remains open at Old Harrodsburg Road.

 

El Mariachi Mexican in Hamburg is offering a round of gift card giveaways via social. A recent promotion benefited Frederick Douglass High School students on their way to a $200,000 dollar goal to put solar panels on their school.

 

Famous Dave’s operates a “ghost kitchen” in Hamburg. Delivery and to-go are available, no dine-in.

 

Richmond Road is getting another popular coffee entry. The Human Bean is adding a new location on the east side.

 

Local Taco construction continues in Hamburg.

 

Sam’s Hot Dog Stand / East Lexington has opened on Winchester Road. (It’s not just hot dogs; December offerings included chicken and dumplings, vegetable soup, and whole cakes and pies. A drive-thru is planned, but for the time being, you can call 859-303-4200 to place your order and they will bring it to your car.
