Water + Oak partnered with the Lexington Parks and Recreation this past weekend to host a Hammock Hang Out at Jacobson Park. In an effort to break the record of most people in a hammock at one time, 300 hammocks were set up at Jacobson Park.
The goal was to create a community wide event for people to come relax and meet new people.
Water + Oak is a specialty outdoor retailer with stores in Louisville and Lexington in The Summit at Fritz Farm.
Water + Oak hosted a pop-up shop along with a table from Athleta Lex and Explore Kentucky. There was also a slacklining station, a mobile shop set up by Drip Coffee Co. and a table from iHeartMedia.
