U.S. Representative Andy Barr held a sendoff event for High School Service Academy Appointments from the Sixth Congressional District. The event was held at the Kentucky High School Athletics Association in June.
“In four short years, these students will join the ranks of the world’s greatest military officers,” said Congressman Barr. “I speak for all Sixth District residents when I say how grateful I am for each of these students stepping up to take on this challenge. That is why I wanted to hold this event to congratulate and commend each student for their commitment to serve our country.”
