Thursday July 1
Boonedogs collaborates with Freddie’s Soda for an event at Boonedogs on Thursday, July 1 starting at 5:30 pm.
Friday July 2
Hamburg Pavilion hosts Food Truck Fridays throughout July. Lexington food trucks will park around the Gazebo area from 11 am to 2 pm.
Saturday July 3
Lexington’s Fourth of July events return this year with a fireworks show at 10 pm.The Bluegrass 10,000 takes place at 8 am, followed by a twist on a patriotic concert at the finish line from Bryan Station and Frederick Douglass High School Marching Bands.

Thursday July 8
Sayre Christian Village hosts a ribbon cutting and open house for the Friendship Towers Expansion and new Assisted Living Memory Care Community on July 8. The ribbon cutting with Commerce Lexington & Mayor Linda Gorton begins at 4 pm. Located at 580 Greenfield Drive. Event parking at Entrance #3, 4, 5, along with street parking. Saturday July 10
Lexington’s next free trash disposal day is Saturday, July 10 from 6 am to 1 pm at 1505 Old Frankfort Pike.
Monday July 12
The Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show is at Kentucky Horse Park through July 17.
Friday July 16
BreyerFest 2021 is happening on Friday, July 16. The event is virtual and no in-person events or activities take place at Kentucky Horse Park for 2021.
Plant Swap at Harkness Edwards Vineyards on Friday, July 16 from 6-8 pm.
Saturday, July 17
The annual Keeneland Concours d’Elegance returns to Keeneland on Saturday, July 17 to showcase collector vehicles from antiques to future classics. The field opens to entrants at 6:30 am, and opens to spectators at 9 am.
Sunday July 18
The Sunday Tour d’Elegance is on Sunday, July 18. It will once again begin at the Keene Library, located on the grounds of Keeneland Race Track beside the Entertainment Center, with the first car out at 9 am. Enjoy a scenic tour through Central Kentucky horse country.
Diamond Rings & Pretty Things Wedding Show is at Central Bank Center on Sunday, July 18 from 11 am to 4 pm.
Tuesday July 20
Sayre Christian Village hosts “Sense”ational Summer: How Aging Impacts Our Sensory Systems with Dr. Elizabeth Rhodus of Sanders Brown Center on Aging on Tuesday, July 20 at 10 am at Sayre Christian Village Friendship Towers. RSVP by July 16 by leaving a message at 859.271.9000 ext. 104.
Preston Greens Senior Living hosts a series of Lunch & Learn events on July 20, 22, 27, and 29. Lunch begins at 1 pm at 1825 Little Herb Way. Enjoy a meal and tour the community. Space is limited, RSVP to 859.533.8334 by July 13.

Lexington Opera House kicks o its 2021-2022 season with Concert With The Stars: Summer Edition presented by Lexington Theatre Company on Saturday, July 31 at 8 pm.
